Senior Violence Prevention Educator

The Senior Violence Prevention Educator is a key member of the Community Education team, responsible for developing and implementing innovative violence-prevention initiatives that meet the needs of campus and community stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in program leadership, including strategic planning and program evaluation to ensure compliance with goals, needs, and funding.
- Design and disseminate responsive violence-prevention outreach campaigns, materials, and programs using multiple media platforms.
- Oversee compliance with grants and outside funders, including tracking grant requirements and managing reporting processes.
- Assist with grant development and create, manage, and maintain systems to manage administrative tasks using technology.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a diverse group of volunteers and interns.
- Travel within campus worksites and the greater community to provide support, administer programming, and transport materials and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with mandates and safety protocols.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with a diverse range of campus and community stakeholders.
- Provide support services related to sexual assault and relationship violence.
- A Master's degree in a related field, such as education, public health, or communications, and 1 year of experience designing or delivering outreach programs to adult or college-aged learners.
- Valid driver's license and access to transportation.
- Dynamic facilitation and education skills across in-person and virtual platforms.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based curriculum and experience applying design best practices.
- Exceptional capacity to seek, understand, and incorporate feedback.
- Strong organizational skills to manage and improve work systems using technology.
- Experience in providing content knowledge regarding topics such as prevention of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking prevention, healthy relationships, trauma-informed practices, and violence prevention.
- Experience in supervision and training of staff, including working with volunteers and understanding of community service learning.
- Demonstrated experience engaging in client-centered design processes.
The Senior Violence Prevention Educator will work in a typical office and classroom setting, with occasional travel to other work-related sites within campus and throughout Hampshire County.
Salary InformationThe salary range for this position is Level 27, with a 37.5-hour workweek and occasional evening and weekend hours.
