Job Summary
As a Construction Foreman at TDIndustries, you will oversee the assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing components, subsystems, and systems during construction, tenant finish-out, or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare material take-offs, layout systems, and create isometric and schematic sketches from blueprints, specifications, and job orders.
- Participate in job planning, manage construction schedules, and ensure appropriate staffing based on equipment and tool knowledge.
- Coach, mentor, and guide craft workers in the plumbing trade, scheduling and coordinating their activities and equipment operation.
- Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Eliminate construction and job site hazards and perform required safety observations.
- Coordinate material, tool, and supply placement and storage to support the construction plan.
- Verify delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Technical training or Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience as a Construction Foreman.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
- Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
