Job Summary

As a Construction Foreman at TDIndustries, you will oversee the assembly, installation, and repair of plumbing components, subsystems, and systems during construction, tenant finish-out, or remodel of commercial buildings and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare material take-offs, layout systems, and create isometric and schematic sketches from blueprints, specifications, and job orders.
  • Participate in job planning, manage construction schedules, and ensure appropriate staffing based on equipment and tool knowledge.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide craft workers in the plumbing trade, scheduling and coordinating their activities and equipment operation.
  • Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Eliminate construction and job site hazards and perform required safety observations.
  • Coordinate material, tool, and supply placement and storage to support the construction plan.
  • Verify delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Technical training or Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Construction Foreman.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.
