SOCOTEC's Dispute Resolution practice provides expert opinion, reports, and testimony in support of schedule and damages claims for owners, contractors, surety, and insurance providers.

Our Project Advisory practice provides assistance to clients with the on-going management of large, complex construction projects.

We focus on supporting counsel and their clients in the resolution of disputes and other business problems, including commercial matters, construction claims, surety-related issues, and government contracts.

Our professionals are skilled in financial analysis, economic and engineering fact-finding, and are experienced in working with counsel and clients in discovery, negotiation, trial, arbitration, and appeals.

We are dedicated to timely, high-quality, and cost-effective service in both large and small matters.

Our senior professionals have provided expert testimony in federal and state courts, bankruptcy courts, international and domestic arbitrations, regulatory proceedings, and before special administrative boards.

Job Description Consultant level responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Create, maintain, and analyze financial models and databases.
  • Reviewing estimates & cost reports.
  • Preparing project status presentations & update reports.
  • Analysis of complex commercial construction project schedules.
  • Review and analyze project cost control documents.
  • Compile detailed research, fact finding, and analysis.
  • Damages quantification.
  • Perform quality control review and proper documentation of work product.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have a degree in one of the following concentrations, with 2-5 years of industry experience: Mechanical, Civil, Architectural Engineering, or Construction Science.
