Your Responsibilities:
  • Support the Donor Center Director in overseeing daily operations and assume managerial duties in their absence.
  • Ensure adherence to facility standard operating procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations, including FDA, OSHA, and CLIA standards.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures.
  • Facilitate monthly staff meetings and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Recruit, motivate, and assess center staff in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide guidance in employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.

What You Need:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Business Administration is preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in a biomedical setting is preferred.
  • Certification as a Senior Medical Screener, Phlebotomist, and St. Processing Technician is required, or the ability to obtain certification within six months of starting the position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Capability to lift and pull up to thirty-five pounds.
  • Must be able to enter environments with temperatures as low as -40°C for brief periods.
  • Occasional travel by plane and/or car may be required.
