Position Overview:
As an Academic Program Coordinator, you will serve as the primary contact for all departmental initiatives associated with the undergraduate program. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Student Recruitment: Engaging in outreach efforts to attract incoming freshmen and facilitate the enrollment of transfer students from community colleges.
  • Academic Records Management: Creating and maintaining up-to-date academic records for students, ensuring accuracy and compliance with institutional standards.
  • Graduation Certification: Assisting in the certification process for students nearing graduation, providing guidance on requirements and procedures.
  • Student Advising: Offering advice to students regarding academic regulations, requirements for degree completion, and general support throughout their educational journey.
  • Course Scheduling Support: Aiding in the organization and scheduling of departmental courses and related instructional activities.
  • Marketing Materials Development: Designing and updating promotional brochures aimed at recruiting new students into the program.
  • Liaison Activities: Acting as a bridge between alumni, community colleges, and the department to foster relationships and enhance program visibility.
  • Administrative Support: Providing assistance to the department chair in coordinating academic activities involving students, faculty, alumni, and other administrative units.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
