Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Radiance Enterprise, LLC. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn, grow, and become more independent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as personal care and hygiene.
  • Administer medication(s) according to guidelines and protocols.
  • Aid in implementing treatments, training programs, and developmental/behavioral plans to promote independence and personal choice.
  • Encourage community participation and socialization to enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
  • Document all observations and daily progress notes to ensure accurate tracking of individual progress.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Transport and accompany individuals to appointments, outings, and shopping to promote community integration.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, sit, and walk for periods of time.
  • Successful clearance of background checks.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • CPR/First Aid training (Preferred).
