Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team at Perfect Staffing Solutions, LLC. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health challenges in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Provide support in community integration, including transportation, social activities, and vocational training.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, their families, and other team members.
  • Implement individualized support plans and monitor progress towards personal goals.
  • Encourage and support individuals in developing skills for greater independence and self-advocacy.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided, including progress notes and incident reports.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment by adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • CPR/FA certification
  • Food Handlers certification
  • CFSA Health Certification
  • DC Child Protective Registry clearance
  • DC Police Clearance
  • FBI Background Check
  • Drug & Alcohol screening
  • Government Issued Identification card
