Job Title: Direct Support Professional

KBEC Group, Inc is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental, intellectual, and/or cognitive disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote independence and community integration.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy to individuals with disabilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and social events.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
