Nurse Practitioner

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients, in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department or critical care setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) certification.
