Join Our Team as a Patient Care Associate

**Position Type:** Full-Time
**Shift:** Night Shift

Your next career opportunity is here Our unit specializes in the care of surgical subspecialty and trauma patients, providing a dynamic environment for dedicated healthcare professionals. The unit is equipped to handle a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to: Whipple, liver resection, bariatric surgeries, bowel resection, and emergency general surgery. As a recognized center for post-operative bariatric care, we maintain high standards of excellence in patient outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Assist patients with personal care to ensure optimal recovery during their hospital stay.
  • Perform fundamental nursing tasks as assigned by a Registered Nurse (RN) in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure a safe environment and the effective delivery of patient care.
  • Carry out administrative support duties as required.
  • Maintain necessary skills and competencies for the role.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

**Compensation Range:** $20.34 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications:

**Education:** High School Graduate or Equivalent.

**Experience:** No prior experience necessary; relevant experience is preferred.

**Licensure:** Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) certification through the Virginia Board of Nursing is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is also mandatory.

**Physical Demands:**
The role requires frequent bending and lifting, with the ability to handle weights exceeding 100 lbs. Candidates may be exposed to various health-related environments.
