Behavioral Health Specialist

Rosecrance Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Aldridge Alternative School in Moline, IL. As a key member of our Student Assistance Program, you will provide essential behavioral health services to students in a daycare and after-school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' behavioral health needs and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with school personnel, students, and parents to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve desired outcomes.
- Training and Education: Provide ongoing training and education to school staff, students, and parents on behavioral health topics and strategies.
- Case Management: Manage cases for students receiving behavioral health services, ensuring timely and effective support.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Track and analyze data to inform program development and evaluate outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Social Work).
- Credentials: Must qualify as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) or higher per Illinois Department of Mental Health Rule 132.
- Experience: Experience in Student Assistance programming and mental health services, with a focus on working with youth.
- Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, knowledge of DSM diagnoses, and experience with electronic healthcare records.
