Position Summary

Full-Time Rehabilitation Specialist required for Outpatient Facility

Sign-on Incentive: $7,500

Work Schedule: 40 hours/week

Clinic Operating Hours: 7 AM - 6 PM, Monday to Friday

No Weekend Shifts

We are actively seeking candidates. The Rehabilitation Specialist plays a crucial role within the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing therapy to patients across various settings, including neurological and orthopedic environments. The patient demographic encompasses pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Responsibilities also include educating patients and their families, maintaining accurate electronic medical records, and participating in care conferences as necessary. Additionally, the role involves supervising support staff, including Rehabilitation Assistants and Aides.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Excellence and Patient Care

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and create individualized care plans based on each patient's unique physical, mental, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions in accordance with established standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Oversee the work of Rehabilitation Assistants and Aides.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in electronic medical records, reflecting the necessity for skilled interventions.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary patient care discussions as appropriate.

Qualifications

Education: Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program (Certificate, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Physical Therapist role.

Licensure/Certification: Current licensure in the relevant states and CPR certification.

Skills: Excellent communication abilities, initiative, sound judgment, adaptability, and teamwork.

Additional Requirements: Familiarity with standard equipment and electronic health record systems.
