About the Role

This is a leadership position that requires a strong clinical knowledge base, excellent communication and leadership skills, and experience in supervising a team of dietitians. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects, overseeing the rollout of department programs and initiatives, and providing training and education to food service staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of dietitians in providing high-quality patient care and nutrition services
  • Develop and implement Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Oversee the rollout of department programs and initiatives to enhance patient care and nutrition services
  • Provide training and education to food service staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals on nutrition and wellness topics
  • Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and nutrition services
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or related field with completion of required coursework and supervised practice
  • Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • 6 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes
  • 5 years of experience as an experienced specialized practitioner
