About the Role

Indotronix International Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in Phoenix. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud infrastructure and hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and optimize infrastructure, servers, middleware, databases, and batch jobs to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Respond to service requests from business partners and internal teams, and troubleshoot environment, data control, and operational issues.
  • Create and maintain documentation to ensure knowledge accessibility and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Automate and streamline processes using scripts and scheduling tools to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Develop automation and views by leveraging API calls and open-source monitoring and management tools to enhance visibility and control.
  • Liaise with other application support teams, internal and external business partners, and technical stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Develop end-to-end environment and platform monitoring views and dashboards to provide real-time insights and visibility.
  • Perform timely escalation of critical issues and proactively identify patterns of recurring issues to improve production and reduce downtime.
  • Develop new monitoring techniques and requirements for monitoring tool build teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with Proactive Problem Management to identify and remediate issues prior to production impact.
  • Establish and document minimum observability requirements for SRC onboarding to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Influence senior technology leads across organizations to ensure command and control over production health and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Extensive understanding of the complexities native to modern distributed systems.
  • Well-versed in the challenges posed by microservices architectures.
  • Experience establishing and supporting proactive monitoring, leveraging telemetry data to detect anomalies, identifying potential issues before they impact users, and enabling faster incident response.
  • Scripting and programming languages, including Python, Java, and Go.
  • Tool experience in APM tools, NPM tools, automation and orchestration products, and cloud-native environments.
  • Flex skills in cloud-native environments, hybrid infrastructure setups, software-defined networks, multi-cloud networking, network automation, and AIOps.
Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead and manage large teams.
  • Comfortable providing clear problem descriptions and guidance to business users in a time-critical environment.
  • Ability to be proactive with a strong bias for action, naturally inquisitive, and bias for continuous improvement of practices and processes.
  • Excellent influence, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with cross-line of business teams, outside service providers, and partner organizations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work independently as a self-starter and within a team environment.
Education and Experience
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in a technical field or relevant work experience, certifications (CCNP, CCIE, JNCIS, JNCIE) nice to have.
  • Level 2, 3-5 years of experience.
