**Position Overview:**
This role is for the 2nd shift, operating from 3PM to 1:30AM, Monday through Thursday.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Utilize advanced paint mixing technology to achieve precise color matching for vehicles.
- Prepare and apply various refinishing coatings, including primers, base coats, and clear finishes.
- Employ skilled painting techniques using both spray guns and brushes to ensure high-quality application.
- Collaborate with the Paint Preparation team to confirm readiness for painting tasks.
- Repair surface imperfections by filling cavities and dents to create a flawless finish.
- Conduct thorough inspections of painted vehicles to ensure quality standards are met, identifying any defects.
- Adhere to safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment, including respirators.
- Comply with all relevant regulations regarding hazardous materials and report any concerns to management.
**Qualifications:**
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive painting.
- Experience in an auto body shop is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying paint flaws and imperfections.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks while standing or moving for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
