- Design and Implement Weekly Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive weekly lessons and activities that promote learning and development.
- Research Resources: Identify and research resources and tools that can support the needs of students and families, staying up-to-date on best practices in youth development and education.
- Build Positive Relationships: Develop strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Experience working with youth (TK-5th grade) required.
- Great Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable Enforcing Program Rules: Ability to enforce program rules and policies in a fair and consistent manner.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate others.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
