Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registration Associate to join our Patient Financial Services team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient registration and billing information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interview patients and families to obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information.
  • Enter data into our registration and billing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Confirm insurance coverage and obtain authorizations as necessary.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to resolve billing and registration issues.
  • Collaborate with our Appeals department to resolve claims denials and ensure accurate payment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring a positive experience throughout the registration and billing process.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in registration or a related field; certified patient account representative (CPAR) certification a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Word, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
