Job Summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a highly skilled Registration Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Patient Financial Services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth registration process for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Interview patients and families to obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information.
  • Enter data into system for registration, billing, patient tracking, charge capture, and reconciliation in a fast, efficient way to minimize patient wait times.
  • Confirm insurance coverage and obtain authorizations if applicable.
  • Assist Appeals department to provide all related information to overturn claims denial.
  • Provide release of medical information as required.
  • Schedule patient appointments when needed, including referral from faxes, phones, or other instructions and contacts physician offices to resolve discrepancies.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to type 45 words per minute.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Word.
