Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all facets of the production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for production operations, aligning them with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
  • Monitor the production process, implementing necessary improvements and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the production team across all sites in daily operations, special projects, and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with all industry standards and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Develop budgets and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring efficient use of materials, labor, and equipment to meet production targets.
  • Review performance against operating plans and standards, providing reports to subordinates on the interpretation of results and approving changes in the direction of plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the manufacturing or food sector.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and business development, with a strong understanding of production processes and financial management principles.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of motivating and developing a high-performing team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
