Key Responsibilities:- Grounds Keeping: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility grounds, including shop cleaning, road calls for oil spill clean up, parts pick up, and surrounding areas.
- Tool Operation: Operate various hand-held manual, electrical, and gas-powered tools and equipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and ensure the safe operating condition of assigned equipment and tools according to company policy and OSHA regulations.
- Waste Management: Assist with organization and distribution of waste carts and bins.
- Shop Maintenance: Perform pressure-washing and minor repairs to shop tools, bins, containers, and shop-based tasks.
- Transportation: Perform safe driving practices while transporting, loading, and unloading shop supplies, parts, and tools.
- General Housekeeping: Assist with general housekeeping of maintenance shops and offices.
- Minor Repairs: Perform minor repairs and general upkeep of the maintenance facility.
- Container Maintenance: Clean, prepare, and paint containers.
- Professional Interaction: Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
- Assistance: Assist in various lines of business, as needed.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to perform physical requirements of the job, including prolonged physical exertions, lifting, carrying, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
