About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Behavioral Health Network. As a key member of our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs in their journey towards empowerment and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct services to individuals in community settings and group homes, promoting their growth, independence, and safety.
  • Monitor individuals' overall health and well-being, and assist with medication treatment and administration as needed.
  • Document and support services provided to individuals, and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Participate in in-services, meetings, and trainings to maintain updated credentials and obtain MAP certification within the introductory period of employment.
About PACT

The Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is a highly integrated outreach and 24/7 residential program that helps individuals meet their goals and reduce hospitalizations. Our team is forensic-focused and designed to reduce arrests and incarcerations.

Requirements
  • Commitment to empowerment and growth, human rights, and community integration of individuals served.
  • Six months of experience in human services (preferred).
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (required).
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable car available for working hours (required).
  • Current MAP Certification (preferred).
