Your Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be a licensed P.E. with a strong technical background and experience in State DOT and Municipal Projects.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to develop transportation project plans for public infrastructure initiatives.
  • Leading the design of roadway alignments, grading and drainage systems, pavement structures, utilities, and stormwater management.
  • Preparing quantities, specifications, and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal projects across the East Coast.
  • Participating in fieldwork as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • Active P.E. license is required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in transportation infrastructure design is essential.
  • Experience with CTDOT is preferred.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer is required.
  • Business development experience is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams, maintain client relationships, and meet project deadlines.

Compensation:

MJ is committed to ensuring fair and equitable compensation for all employee-owners. The pay range listed in this posting is an approximation and reflects our good faith effort to provide a competitive salary range. The specific salary offered may vary based on factors such as work location, relevant experience, educational background, licensure, and qualifications relative to the advertised position.

Pay Range: $35-$55/hr excluding incentive compensation/profit performance plan.
