Scientific Research Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Scientific Research Manager in the Tabar Lab. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for driving research projects and optimizing experimental methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct and analyze experiments to advance our understanding of human stem cells for regenerative purposes in the brain.
- Coordinate scientific operations, manage grant proposal activities, and communicate with intramural and extramural partners.
- Work with the Neurosurgery Chair, Assistant Lab Member, and department administration to conceptualize new research activities and prepare research proposals.
- Act as a focal point for team communications and assume responsibility for meeting project expectations.
- Oversee the implementation of collaborative extramural and intramural projects, communicate with project participants and funders, and prepare project reports and manuscripts.
- MD or PhD with 2-3 years of postdoctoral research experience and significant knowledge of neuroscience and stem cells.
- Outstanding attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure unforeseen issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely fashion.
- Strategic planning and willingness to contribute to academic activities of the Tabar Lab and help define its intellectual direction for the future.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact across all levels in a confident and professional manner, and enthusiasm for advancing biomedical research in a dynamic and fast-paced academic environment.
