Daily Living Support Specialist

Assistance Plus is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daily Living Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing support services to adults with behavioral health diagnoses.

Job Summary:

The Daily Living Support Specialist will work closely with clients to ensure their safety and emotional well-being in their homes and communities. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor clients' ability to function independently and provide support as needed
  • Ensure clients' safety and emotional well-being in their homes and communities
  • Transport clients within their communities as required
  • Attend and participate in regular clinical supervision and training sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Proof of vehicle insurance and a valid Maine driver's license required
  • Entry-level computer experience and access to email/internet required
  • MHRT/1 certification (training provided by Assistance Plus)
