Senior Care Assistant Opportunity



Woodlands Senior Living is a Maine-based, family-owned-and-operated organization that provides trusted care services to the people of Maine.



We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our team, providing high-quality care to our residents and supporting their daily living needs.



Responsibilities:




  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, etc.)
  • Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (using telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service, etc.)
  • Respond to resident call lights promptly
  • Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned
  • Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses

Requirements:




  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire
  • Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza
  • Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision


Salary: $16 - $24/hour
