Personal Support Specialist (PSS) - Weekend Warrior

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to join our team at Woodlands Senior Living.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and caring PSS to provide direct care to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, and responding to resident call lights. As a PSS, you will be responsible for performing scheduled resident activities, accurately documenting care provisions, and maintaining a safe and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and other activities of daily living
  • Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, such as using the telephone, light housekeeping, and meal preparation/service
  • Respond to resident call lights promptly and provide timely assistance
  • Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned
  • Accurately document care provisions and changes in resident statuses

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire
  • Provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella, and Influenza
  • Have a strong command of the English language and the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision

$16 - $24/hour
