Construction Materials Internship: Geotechnical and Materials Testing

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Materials Intern to join our team at ECS Group of Companies. As a Construction Materials Intern, you will assist in the testing and evaluation of construction materials, including soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, and asphalt pavement.
Responsibilities- Conduct laboratory tests and determine the properties of construction materials
- Assist in project meetings and contribute to project resolutions
- Support the scheduling, training, and oversight of Field Technicians
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Interest in the construction process and the utilization of building materials
- Previous internship experience required
- Ability to lift 40-70 pounds multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 pounds to waist height
- Must provide suitable transportation for use on job sites, with mileage reimbursement
