Job Summary:
The National Basketball Association (NBA) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director, Live Game Production to join its team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and production of live NBA game broadcasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee live game production teams in all aspects of production, ensuring the highest quality broadcasts that meet creative, editorial, and technical broadcast standards.
- Work with internal and external partners to plan, coordinate, and execute live game broadcasts, including graphics, ad sales, and trafficking.
- Responsible for content quality and budget performance for remote productions, tracking and reporting on production schedules and budgets.
- Liaise with contracted and third-party vendors as needed to ensure seamless production.
- Collaborate with Next Gen Telecast leads to improve long-term enhancements of live game productions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a live game Coordinating Producer or equivalent role.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in sports television production as a live Producer, Director, or Executive/Coordinating Producer.
- Demonstrated leadership in progressively complex live event production and proven ability to impact content.
- High level of expertise producing live compelling sports broadcasts.
- High level of sports production knowledge, specifically the NBA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work non-standard hours during sport season as necessary.
Salary Range: $170,000 - $185,000
