Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Outpatient Clinic Director to lead our treatment program. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and supervising the daily management of the outpatient treatment program, its staff, and clients.

The Outpatient Clinic Director will ensure effective client care in accordance with OASAS and JCAHO regulatory requirements and maintain all administrative compliance. This role may also involve assisting in the development, implementation, administration, and supervision of satellite clinic locations.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, QHP certification, and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a supervisor, with 3 years of experience in substance use treatment. A background check, pre-employment screening, and drug screening will be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and supervise the daily management of the outpatient treatment program
  • Ensure effective client care in accordance with OASAS and JCAHO regulatory requirements
  • Maintain all administrative compliance
  • Assist in the development, implementation, administration, and supervision of satellite clinic locations
  • Conduct marketing efforts with the Regional Service Department
  • Educate the community through workshops and lecture presentations
  • Supervise staff in regard to client care, treatment plan development, discharge planning, documentation responsibilities, and other necessary case management tasks
  • Assume staffing responsibilities, including recruiting, hiring, and termination of employees
  • Maintain appropriate clinical coverage by scheduling and monitoring employee paid time off effectively
  • Coordinate intakes with staff in conjunction with referent agencies
  • Facilitate transfers/admissions with the Arms Acres inpatient intake department
  • Collect data, including daily, monthly, annual productivity reports, departmental goals and objectives reports, OASAS statistical reports, and other reports requested by the Director of Outpatient Operations
  • Maintain meeting minutes, utilization review minutes, incident reports, and staff supervisory reports as required by regulatory requirement and Director of Outpatient Operations
  • Assess program growth and development and design and implement program changes with the approval of the Director of Outpatient Operations
  • Responsible for Regional Service activities that promote census growth and development, community outreach, and program marketing
  • Maintain fiscal integrity of the program by monitoring the monthly program report of visits, revenues, and expenditures
Requirements
  • Master's degree
  • QHP certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a supervisor
  • 3 years of experience in substance use treatment
