Job Description

Under the general direction of the ITS GIS Program Manager, the GIS Principal Analyst will be responsible for technology solutions and performing all aspects of maintaining and managing ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, as well as analysis, design, programming, testing, debugging, and deployment of fully functional GIS applications.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide ongoing user and system support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for ArcGIS Enterprise & Geodatabases
  • Data modeling and Data Migration in Geospatial technology
  • Maintain Enterprise GIS data using ESRI tools
  • Develop, implement, and support web applications, web services, and Mobile applications with ESRI technologies
  • Maintain & support Extract Transform Load (ETL) jobs
  • Work on Utility Network related tasks including data clean up and updates
  • Partner with division GIS on implementation, testing, training, and knowledge-transfer of new technologies or changes to existing processes and systems.
  • Maintain & support Building Information Model (BIM) to 3D GIS data
  • Provide ad-hoc data and reporting, using SQL, PL/SQL, Cognos.
Qualifications:
  • An associate degree in business administration, public administration, information systems, economics, finance, computer science, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units
  • Five (5) years of experience in the information systems field, including system analysis, business process design, development, and implementation of business application solutions or IT project management

  • TSE04- GIS Applications and Tools Experience (24 months)
