Key Responsibilities:Scheduling:- Schedule and coordinate patient visits for home health and hospice care, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and staff availability.
- Manage and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in patient needs and staff availability, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records within the system.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and physicians, to ensure timely and accurate communication of schedule changes to staff and patients.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure patient care plans are followed, and troubleshoot any issues related to scheduling software.
- Utilize WellSky/Kinnser software for scheduling and documentation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records within the system.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a scheduler in a home health or hospice setting, with proficiency in WellSky/Kinnser software.
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a detail-oriented approach and high degree of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- $18-$24 per hour.
