Position Overview

Concorde Battery Georgia Corporation specializes in the manufacturing of aviation batteries. We have been a part of the industry for over four decades, with our Georgia facility established in 2014. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our Stage Four Department.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the loading and unloading of batteries on conveyor systems.
  • Complete the final assembly of aircraft batteries.
  • Support fellow team members within the department.
  • Handle weights up to 90 lbs.
  • Maintain a standing position for extended periods.
  • Perform various physical tasks including reaching, carrying, bending, and pushing.
  • Adhere to both written and verbal instructions.
  • Utilize small hand tools and operate handheld electric/air tools.
  • Document battery weights accurately.
  • Operate industrial hot melt machinery.
  • Engage in the daily loading and unloading of battery pallets.
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training.
  • Perform minor data entry using a computer.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized.
  • Report any defective batteries to supervisors or quality control.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Work in varying temperature conditions.
  • Handle hazardous materials safely.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday; 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM.
