We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Associate to join our team at Great Lakes Petroleum. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering bulk lubricant products to customers in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities- Delivery and Logistics: Deliver bulk lubricant products to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of delivery information, including documentation and logs.
- Warehouse Operations: Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring proper handling and storage of products.
- Route Optimization: Follow company delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency of deliveries.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Participate in monthly and annual physical inventories, ensuring accurate counts and records.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other company vehicles and equipment as trained and instructed.
- Commercial Driving Experience: Must have a Class A or Class B CDL with a clean driving record and tanker endorsement.
- Physical and Medical Requirements: Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service demeanor and communication skills.
- Previous Experience: Prior commercial driving and warehouse experience preferred.
