Position Overview
The Assembler I role involves the fabrication of component parts or the assembly of finished products according to customer specifications. You will be responsible for securing and maintaining the necessary component parts and supplies for efficient operations.
Compensation: Starting at $18.50, up to $20 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the work area for assembly tasks.
- Assemble parts following prescribed instructions and quality standards.
- Utilize hand tools as necessary to complete the assembly process.
- Organize and stack finished products according to established procedures, including labeling and banding as required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, ensuring equipment is safe to operate.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Keep production records as required.
- Verify materials and finished products for compliance with quality standards.
- Adhere to established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
- Participate in safety, continuous improvement, and other relevant programs and meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
- No minimum experience required; however, 6 months of manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.
- Basic math skills are necessary.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
