About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team at Mastercard. As a DEI Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of various initiatives and projects that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of DEI initiatives, including events, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide general administrative assistance, including scheduling meetings, taking notes, preparing reports, and maintaining DEI resources.
  • Collaborate with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) by attending meetings, assisting with events, and gathering feedback on their activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of DEI strategies and policies.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or accelerated master's degree graduating December 2025 or beyond.
  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field with a strong interest in DEI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Project management skills, highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in developing and mapping out solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handle multiple tasks, consistently meet established deadlines, and deliver exceptional results.
  • Expert PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Experience with Tableau, Domo, or other comparable business intelligence tools.
