Clinical Support Specialist

This is a Full-Time Position, Monday - Thursday, 8:30am-5:30pm and Friday 8-4pm.
Nezhat Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Support Specialist to join our team. We are a well-respected gynecological practice committed to providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, be dependable, and demonstrate a commitment to going above and beyond for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and accurately record vital signs.
- Conduct pre-assessments by reviewing patient history to facilitate physician consultations.
- Act as the primary liaison between patients and physicians for clinical inquiries and prescription management.
- Organize and prepare patient charts and documentation daily.
- Interpret lab results and communicate findings to patients as directed by the physician.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of examination rooms.
- Administer injections and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Assist physicians during examinations and medical procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of all medical instruments.
- Manage inventory of clinical and pharmaceutical supplies, including ordering as necessary.
- Support the upkeep of laboratory equipment.
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
- Ability to navigate both paper charts and electronic medical record systems.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Composure in high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with sound judgment.
- Consistent attendance is crucial for the success of our practice.

Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or higher qualification.

- A minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
