Contingent upon contract award, First Division Consulting is seeking a dedicated Program/Project Manager II to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive professional, management, and administrative support services that are essential for the operational efficiency and strategic objectives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, Analysis, and Planning: Provide analytical and planning support across various strategic and tactical operations.
- Program and Project Support: Facilitate management and administrative assistance for both ongoing and new initiatives.
- Technology Transfer: Aid in the transfer of technology processes, promoting innovation and collaboration with industry and academic partners.
- STEM Program Development: Support the creation and execution of educational programs in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
- Innovation Services: Assist in initiatives that foster innovation across multiple departments.
- Chief Technology Office Support: Provide specialized assistance to the Chief Technology Office in executing technology-related strategies.
- Executive Leadership Assistance: Offer administrative and strategic support to executive leadership for effective decision-making and operations management.
- Functional and Compliance Support: Ensure alignment with corporate and regulatory standards through necessary functional and compliance assistance.
Scope of Work:
This role encompasses broad support for various projects and programs, which are crucial for our organization and its clients. The services provided are designed to enhance effectiveness in fulfilling mission areas such as Electronic Warfare, Strategic Missions, and Special Missions.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will:
- Oversee large-scale, multi-year programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational benchmarks.
- Provide high-level program definition and resource negotiation, ensuring consistency with long-range plans.
- Monitor program performance, offering updates and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Security Clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or managerial discipline.
- 10 years of experience in program/project management with PMP certification.
- Prior experience in command operations is highly desired.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and other office equipment. Specific vision abilities required include close vision due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting may be necessary, and regular, predictable attendance is required.
