Job Description

iHeartMedia, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing to join our team in Hartford, CT.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating and developing successful marketing campaigns, as well as strong leadership and management skills. They will be responsible for overseeing the marketing and promotions department, evaluating and developing our marketing and promotion strategy and plan, and communicating the marketing and promotions plan to the team.

The Director of Marketing will work closely with the sales and programming teams to develop successful strategies and campaigns, and will be responsible for creating and maintaining a successful brand and image that attracts listeners. They will also be responsible for developing and managing budgets, as well as advertising campaigns.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and will be able to effectively manage and develop multiple employees in a high-volume, fast-paced, and creative environment. They will also have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and will be able to set performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the marketing and promotions department
  • Evaluate and develop our marketing and promotion strategy and plan
  • Communicate the marketing and promotions plan to the team
  • Work closely with the sales and programming teams to develop successful strategies and campaigns
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts listeners
  • Develop and manage budgets, as well as advertising campaigns

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of proven experience in marketing and promotions, including running a successful team
  • Proven marketing campaign experience
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage budgets
  • Professional and proactive work ethic
  • High competence in project and stakeholder management
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
