Charge Nurse LPN Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN to join our team as a Charge Nurse. This role is responsible for supervising nursing assistants, administering medications, and maintaining accurate records.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong understanding of nursing protocols and procedures. They will also be responsible for participating in performance improvement activities, attending continuing education programs, and contributing to quality assurance efforts.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of organization, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Responsibilities- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure they are following established protocols and procedures
- Administer medications and maintain accurate records
- Participate in performance improvement activities and contribute to quality assurance efforts
- Attend continuing education programs and stay up-to-date on industry developments
Please note that this role requires a high level of physical stamina, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Requirements- Current LPN license in the State of Georgia
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in nursing administration preferred
