Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opening for a Residential Associate role within our program. As a Residential Associate, you will be part of a dedicated care team working with adults facing significant mental health challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development of essential life skills and therapeutic strategies
- Performing household tasks and meal preparation
- Administering prescribed medications
- Maintaining accurate clinical records
Training and Development Opportunities
For those starting as a QMHA-R, we offer a Vocational Training Program designed to expedite training and experiential learning, enabling qualified employees to fulfill the 1000 supervised hours required for QMHA-I certification. This program can lead to certification in as little as 6 months and is optional.
Work Schedule Options:
- Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Full Time, Day)
- Wednesday to Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Part Time, Swing)
- Friday to Tuesday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (Full Time, Swing)
- Thursday to Monday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Full Time, Night)
Starting wage of $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and credentials. An additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential applies during specific hours.
Program Overview
Our facility is a newly licensed Secure Residential Treatment Facility, catering to adults requiring Aid and Assist services. Clients benefit from restoration services, competency assessments, mental health rehabilitation, and personal care supports in a secure environment.
Qualifications Required
Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration, which includes one of the following:
- A Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science (Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Human Development, or related field);
- A minimum of three (3) years of verifiable experience in behavioral health with individuals in a supervised setting;
- A combination of relevant education and satisfactory behavioral health experience.
Additional Requirements
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential. Candidates must also pass a criminal background check. Physical requirements include the ability to communicate effectively, perform various physical tasks, and complete crisis de-escalation and CPR training.
