Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement motion planning software and algorithms, forming the backbone of decision-making processes in complex, unpredictable, and interactive traffic environments.
  • Collaborate within a diverse team of Engineers and Research Scientists, leveraging an AI-centric methodology to ensure safe and scalable self-driving solutions.
  • Engage in technical discussions and architectural planning, partnering with researchers and engineers to create a dependable autonomy framework for autonomous vehicles.

Required Qualifications:

  • MS/PhD or Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant industry experience in Computer Science, Robotics, or related technical disciplines.
  • Proficiency in planning and decision-making methodologies (e.g., optimal control, optimization techniques, search algorithms, probabilistic decision-making).
  • Strong coding capabilities in Python or C++ suitable for production environments.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a solid foundation in linear algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability.
  • Ability to quickly prototype and evaluate new algorithms.
  • Collaborative team player with an open mindset and a readiness to assist colleagues.
  • Skilled in balancing progress on long-term objectives while addressing immediate challenges.
  • Enthusiastic about advancements in self-driving technologies, tackling intricate problems, and devising innovative solutions.
