Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Growth: Maximize sales opportunities through personal visits and calls, and develop strategies to drive profitable growth in the protein category.
  • Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, competitive pricing, and high-quality products.
  • Pricing and Contract Management: Develop pricing strategies to win contracts and maximize company value, and manage contracts to ensure compliance and profitability.
  • Product Knowledge and Selling Skills: Maintain strong product knowledge and selling skills to effectively communicate with customers and drive sales growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams to achieve sales goals and profitability metrics, and communicate effectively with suppliers and customers to drive business results.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a focus on fresh protein.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct market research and develop business plans.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
