Job Summary

Comcast is seeking a seasoned Procurement Strategist to lead our Enterprise Procurement team in advancing our industry-leading Contingent Labor program. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement plans that drive cost savings, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with Comcast's business objectives and drive value for the organization.
  • Lead a team of procurement professionals in managing the Contingent Labor program, including vendor management, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, and Compliance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of procurement strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal customers.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform procurement strategies and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure compliance with Comcast's procurement policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, with a focus on contingent labor and vendor management.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful procurement strategies that drive cost savings and improve efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) and other procurement technologies.
  • Knowledge of market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes that impact procurement strategies.
  • Certifications in procurement, such as CPM or CPSM.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
