Primary Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales targets by generating new business and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Identify and qualify sales leads from various sources
  • Assist clients in safeguarding their interests by recommending suitable Allstate products
  • Serve the local community by helping them prepare for unforeseen events
  • Educate potential clients on how to protect their families and assets
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience
Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in sales; prior sales experience is advantageous
  • No prior insurance experience is necessary
  • Willingness to obtain the required Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health licenses upon hiring (existing licenses are a plus)
  • Confident and motivated individual who can work independently
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, follow through, and maintain communication
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Note: Each agency operates differently regarding staff structure, business management, sales processes, and compensation. Compensation is generally offered as a base salary plus commission and will vary based on the agency and individual experience. Actual benefits may differ from those listed above.

This sales consultant position is not a direct employment opportunity with Allstate Insurance Company, but rather a role with Allstate Exclusive Agents who are independent contractors.
