Unlock Your Sales Potential as a Market Development Specialist

Spectrum is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers through door-to-door relationship building and community events, focusing on new and existing communities within targeted growth markets, and building a vast network of referral partners to help quickly engage prospective customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers through door-to-door relationship building and community events
  • Foster strong relationships with homebuilders, homeowner associations, and housing community groups within an assigned territory
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals in Internet, mobile, phone, and video sales
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and support business growth
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and sales techniques to effectively communicate the value of Spectrum's products to customers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Effective communication, listening, relationship-building, and multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Results-oriented and persuasive with a positive attitude and resilient
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales or relevant work experience
  • Experience in door-to-door sales
