As a fully licensed Retirement Planning Advisor, you will craft and present T. Rowe Price-supported retirement strategies and insights that promote the financial well-being of our participants. This role is integral to a sales team focused on high-value sales and asset retention, contributing to our overall enterprise growth. Collaborating with our sales team, you will be accountable for achieving growth objectives centered on client retention, new asset acquisition, and asset consolidation through ongoing consultative dialogues.

We aim to provide tailored consultations and solutions that align with the retirement planning needs of T. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough consultations with participants via phone as part of a dedicated sales team model for high-value retirement plan participants.
  • Employ a consultative approach to present products and services related to retirement planning during significant life events such as employment separation, retirement, and investment strategies.
  • Gain insights into the participant's financial portfolio goals, asset composition, and historical data to guide them towards appropriate next steps.
  • Retain assets by educating participants on available plan-specific and general distribution options.
  • Acquire new assets for the firm through ongoing follow-up consultations.
  • Initiate proactive and follow-up communications on behalf of participants with current or previous providers to coordinate next steps and implement client decisions.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline of opportunities to nurture client relationships.
  • Act as a single point of contact, assisting clients through transitions.
  • Utilize a consistent follow-up process to advance sales opportunities.
  • Organize your calendar and leads efficiently to achieve results.
  • Meet defined retention and sales targets along with other role-specific responsibilities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of T. Rowe Price funds, products, and services.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires adaptability.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues within your knowledge scope to ensure efficient transaction and administrative processes.
  • Collaborate with back-office and shared services teams to investigate and resolve client inquiries.
  • Engage in training sessions, team meetings, and knowledge sharing with colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in inbound and/or phone-based sales.
  • Possession of FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.

PREFERRED

  • 3+ years of related experience in inbound and/or phone-based sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and/or Synergy.
  • Strong understanding of Retirement Investment Products and qualified retirement plans.
  • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation (to be obtained within 180 days of hire).
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

WORK FLEXIBILITY

This position allows for remote work up to two days a week following successful completion of the training program.
