About the Role

As a licensed financial consultant, you will craft and present T. Rowe Price-backed retirement strategies and insights that enhance the financial well-being of our clients. You will be an integral part of a sales team committed to high-value sales and asset retention, contributing to our overall growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients via phone, focusing on high-value retirement plan participants.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to present products and services related to retirement planning during significant life events.
  • Assess clients' financial portfolios, objectives, and historical data to guide them towards appropriate next steps.
  • Educate clients on available plan-specific and general distribution options to retain assets.
  • Engage in ongoing consultations to acquire new assets for the firm.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to coordinate next steps and implement their decisions.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities to nurture client relationships effectively.
  • Achieve defined retention and sales targets while fulfilling other role-specific responsibilities.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of T. Rowe Price funds, products, and services.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment that requires flexibility.
  • Address client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently, collaborating with back-office teams as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in inbound and/or phone-based sales.
  • Possession of FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses.
Preferred
  • 3+ years of related experience in inbound and/or phone-based sales.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and/or Synergy.
  • Strong understanding of Retirement Investment Products and qualified retirement plans.
  • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) designation (to be obtained within 180 days of hire).
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
Work Flexibility

This position offers the potential for remote work up to two days a week following successful training completion.
