We are currently seeking a Full-Time Finance Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the finance leadership team to ensure an accurate accounting system, safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Oversee and guide the billing, accounts payable, and payroll teams in their daily operations.
  • Prepare monthly internal financial reports, including supporting documentation and reconciliations for review by senior management.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and analyses of financial data and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the formulation of annual budgets based on historical and projected financial data.
  • Represent the finance department in organizational meetings as needed.
  • Manage and mentor finance department staff, promoting their professional development.
  • Evaluate operational efficiencies and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with external auditors for annual financial audits and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources on audits related to employee benefits.
  • Provide regular financial updates to administration, including budget preparation and reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation of cost reimbursement and government agency reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant fiscal laws and regulations.
  • Support the finance department in developing automated accounting solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in special projects as needed.
  • Perform additional finance-related tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Management from an accredited institution is required; MBA or CPA is strongly preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Experience in healthcare and education sectors is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Supervisory experience is required.
  • Familiarity with Blackbaud Financial Edge is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
