We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paver Operator to join our team at Brox Industries Inc. This role involves operating a machine that spreads and levels hot mix asphalt on highways and streets. Key responsibilities include performing preshift inspections, complying with operating safety rules, filling in daily inspection reports, and coordinating with the mechanic to report any issues with the equipment. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of asphalt paving best practices, compaction testing, and temperature requirements. They will also display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with coworkers and the public. The position requires the ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, and be punctual and dependable. A valid driver's license and hoisting license are also required. We offer competitive wages, a weekly paycheck, overtime pay, paid time off, and sick time accrual.
