Role Summary: We are in search of a seasoned Assistant General Manager to play a pivotal role in the daily management and operational excellence of Eastern Standard and Equal Measure. This multifaceted position offers the opportunity for professional growth as we expand our offerings in the near future. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be eager to collaborate with a talented team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of Eastern Standard, Equal Measure, and the private dining program.
  • Implement new initiatives and service standards through effective staff training.
  • Maintain a hands-on presence on the floor, leading by example and assisting team members as needed.
  • Empower front-of-house staff to create memorable guest experiences through effective communication and support.
  • Collaborate closely with both front-of-house and back-of-house management teams.
  • Participate in inventory management and ordering processes as required.
  • Foster meaningful relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and build a loyal customer base.
  • Promote the ES hospitality brand within the community, identifying opportunities for new business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient problem-solving abilities.
